In May, Drama class 38 claimed the spotlight in the newly named Stephanie P. McClelland drama theater with two Shakespeare works, As You Like It and Julius Caesar. They will kick off their fourth-year season with Molière's The Misanthrope in October. Last spring also saw a memorial tribute for hornist Jerome Ashby, and honors bestowed on Frank Corsaro and Bertha Melnik as they became faculty emeritus. Juilliard dancers traveled to Peru, and the Juilliard Club turned the Kaplan Penthouse into a salsa club for their second annual benefit.
