| The Juilliard String Quartet, which features (left to right) first violinist Nick Eanet, second violinist Ronald Copes, cellist Joel Krosnick, and violist Samuel Rhodes, gave its first performance of the season on December 1 in Alice Tully Hall, a well-received program of Schubert, Bartok, and Beethoven. The concert marked Eanet’s first Juilliard appearance with the quartet. Arriving from the post of Metropolitan Opera Orchestra concertmaster, Eanet, a Juilliard alumnus, is also a newly-minted violin faculty member. Other recent events featured third- and fourth-year drama productions, an evening with Branford Marsalis, the debut of Juilliard 415, new dances, among others.
