Juilliard Concert Office: Each alumni may receive two tickets to all free Juilliard concerts. These tickets will be available beginning two weeks prior to the performance. Alumni are also eligible for two free tickets (as available) for all Avery Fisher Concerts, Dance Events for which there is a charge and Juilliard Theater Faculty Recitals. Tickets for Opera and Drama Repertory Season are half price to alumni. No phone reservations are accepted for these tickets. Artists' Health Insurance Resource Center (AHIRC)
The Office of Alumni Relations has been made aware of a valuable resource for information on health insurance for artists — the Artists' Health Insurance Resource Center. The AHIRC database was created in 1998 by The Actors' Fund of America, with a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, as a health insurance resource for artists and people in the entertainment industry. Since then, and with support from The Commonwealth Fund, it has expanded to include resources for the self-employed, low-income workers, the under-insured, and the uninsured who require medical care. Because health care is a local service and the availability of affordable, quality health insurance differs greatly from state to state, please visit the AHIRC Web site to find the insurance availability in your local state.
