Judy, a play by Max Posner (Playwrights '15), begins previews on September 1 at Off Broadway's New Ohio Theatre. Directed by Ken Rus Schmoll, it's scheduled to run through September 26. The play was first seen at the September 2014 Juilliard Playwrights Festival. Posner also recently completed a commission for South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa, Calif.
In the spring, The Roommate by Jen Silverman (Playwrights '15) was presented by the Actors Theatre of Louisville's Humana Festival. Yale Repertory Theatre will present her play The Moors (January 20-February 16); it will be directed by Jackson Gay. Silverman's Still will be performed as part of Juilliard's fourth-year repertory cycle.

At the Young Concert Artists Gala Concert in May, Ji Yong Kim (Pre-College '09; Diploma '15, piano) was the soloist for a performance of Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 23 in A Major with the Orchestra of St. Luke's conducted by Gerard Schwarz (BS '72, MM '90 trumpet; former faculty).
Ruth Reinhardt (MM '15, orchestral conducting) was named an associate fellow in the Taki Concordia Conducting Fellowship. This spring, Reinhardt participated in the sixth international conducting master class with David Zinman and the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich. She spent the summer as a conducting fellow at the Tanglewood Music Center.
