A two-semester course

Description:

This course is an advanced study of tonal music from the mid-19th century to the present. Topics include chromatic harmony and voice leading, and selected 20th-century innovations. Extended musical structures and designs are emphasized. Placement interview required. Not subject to N.Y. Philharmonic discount.
