Faculty The Pre-College faculty is a renowned
group of distinguished artists/teachers who specialize in nurturing young performers
and establishing a thoroughly professional foundation of technical skills.
Equally important, the faculty members know that a love of music is at the
heart of musical artistry, so Pre-College teachers share their knowledge and
experience to develop the emotional and expressive growth of their students.
Some Pre-College teachers are members of important performing ensembles,
such as the New York Philharmonic, Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, Orpheus
Chamber Orchestra, American Composers Orchestra, and New Jersey Symphony.
Many are renowned chamber musicians. Their extraordinary performing experience
informs their teaching in the division, making them outstanding resources
for young, developing musicians.
