The Dean of Student Affairs serves as an Executive Officer of The Juilliard School and works closely with the Senior Administration, leaders of the Dance, Drama, and Music Divisions, and Lincoln Center. The Dean oversees strategic operation and compliance within the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), Office of Residence Life (ORL), and the Office of International Advisement (OIA). The Dean chairs the Juilliard Assessment and Care Team and manages its hotline while attending to other student-related medical and psychological matters as an on-call emergency response staff member. In addition, the Dean serves as the School’s Title IX Coordinator and sits on other institutional committees. 
Jen is a true Wisconsinite… she bleeds “Green & Gold” (Green Bay Packers) and even has a “cheese guy.” An artist at heart, she loves watching Juilliard concerts, performances, and recitals both on- and off-campus. As a competitive athlete, Jen enjoys the great outdoors, especially running her boxer dog, Vivian Lee.

Sabrina Tanbara

The Assistant Dean of Student Affairs serves as an Executive Officer of The Juilliard School.  The Assistant Dean oversees the operations of the Office of Student Affairs (OSA), including operations, budget management, the student judicial process, student events and campus programs including New Student Orientation (NSO) and the first year course, Colloquium. The Assistant Dean also serves in an on-call emergency response capacity for student emergencies. In addition, the Assistant Dean serves as a Deputy Title IX Coordinator and sits on other institutional committees as appropriate.

Sabrina is a native New Yorker, born and raised in Brooklyn. She is an avid New York Yankees fan, amateur photographer, enjoys Broadway theater and is a fan of Zumba workouts. Sabrina’s favorite New York City spot is Central Park and can often be seen there with her camera. While not classically trained, Sabrina spent her college years in an a cappella singing group. Sabrina has been employed at Juilliard for over a dozen years and thoroughly enjoys attending the student and alumni performances.

Lindsey Hresko
Assistant Director of Student Engagement and Leadership

The Assistant Director, as part of Student Affairs, plans and implements comprehensive programming of social, educational, cultural and leadership activities and is responsible for the supervision and training of the Orientation Leaders and Programming Assistants. In addition, the Assistant Director acts as advisor to the Juilliard Student Council, manages student organizations, and oversees commuter student services. The Assistant Director responds to student needs through advocacy, provides general advisement for students, and contributes to the development of student life at Juilliard.

A New Jersey native, Lindsey loves the opportunities Juilliard provides to combine her two passions: student affairs and the arts. With a background in performing arts, Lindsey spent many years involved in theater and choral music and has performed on stage at Carnegie Hall. Lindsey enjoys fantasy football and fantasy novels, and welcomes any opportunity to chat about Harry Potter and Game of Thrones. She spends her free time hiking and hunting discount Broadway tickets.

Bachelor of Science in Business and Management, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

The Student Affairs Associate is responsible for daily operations of the Office of Student Affairs, management of student resources, general programming support, and supervision of student office assistants. The Student Affairs Associate also coordinates student communications and media through campus announcements, the Student Affairs website, and its various social media outlets.

Before arriving at The Juilliard School, Howie worked for his Alma Mater post-graduation as a Student Activities Assistant, utilizing his love for campus engagement, student leadership, and the performing arts to give back to his school as a full time staff member. A dedicated ensemble singer for over ten years, Howie now sings with Voices of Gotham, an internationally-ranked barbershop chorus based in the Hell’s Kitchen area of Midtown NYC.
