Conversations with Jason Moran


On Tuesday, October 29, 2013, members of the Juilliard Jazz Notables and guests enjoyed a discussion and performance with pianist/composer and musical adviser at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Jason Moran and Juilliard Jazz faculty member Frank Kimbrough. The event was sponsored by Steinway & Sons and featured performances by Juilliard Jazz students Chase Baird (B.M. ‘14, saxophone), Luke Celenza (B.M. ‘14, piano), Sammy Miller (M.M. ‘14, drums), Riley Mulherkar (B.M. ‘14, trumpet), and Devin Starks (M.M. ‘15, bass).
