Diploma Programs Statistics & Disclosure
On this page:
Federal regulations require institutions to report and disclose to prospective students certain information about students who enrolled in Title IV eligible educational programs that lead to gainful employment in a recognized occupation. The Juilliard School has several undergraduate and graduate level non-degree programs which are considered “Gainful Employment” programs. Statistics and other disclosure information for each program are being provided as required.
The following data (for all programs) is not being disclosed due to Federal privacy laws:
–Median debt amounts (Title IV debt, private educational loan debt, and debt from institutional financing)
–On-time completion rate
In addition, neither the New York State Department of Education nor the Middles States Commission on Higher Education (Juilliard’s accrediting agency), require The Juilliard School to report job placement rates. However, Juilliard alumni are working artists who carry with them the highest standards of the performing arts profession worldwide. Instrumentalist-alumni constitute 50 percent or more of Lincoln Center's (and New York City's) established orchestras, and approximately 20 percent of the members of America's "big five" ensembles. Juilliard alumni have collectively won more than 105 Grammy Awards, 62 Tony Awards, 47 Emmy Awards, 26 Bessie Awards, 24 Academy Awards, 16 Pulitzer Prizes, and 12 National Medals for the Arts.
