Born in New Orleans, LA

Cellist of Anweiler-Combs Duo (piano and cello), resident musicians, Chater Oak Concerts, Hartford, Conn. Artistic director and founder of Music Mountain's Chamber Music Festival for Young Musicians and Adult Amateur Chamber Retreat in Falls Village, Conn., since 1998. Performances at festivals such as Garth Newel Music Center, Skaneateles Chamber Music Festival, Bang on a Can series at Alice Tully Hall (as guest artisit with Cassatt Quartet), and Eastern Chamber Players including collaborations with violinists Miriam Fried and Franco Gulli, and pianist Charles Rosen. Recipient of Eastern Music Festival's highest honor, the Bloomfield Award. Performs as soloist with orchestras such as Connecticut Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra. Frequent guest artist of Chicago Chamber Musicians, including a live broadcast in 2004 on Chicago's WFMT Radio. Brought a variety of chamber music programs to Hartford Public Schools through Bushnell Memorial Partners Program, 1992-94.

Juilliard Pre-College, cello studies with Leonard Rose and Channing Robbins. B.M., The Juilliard School, cello studies with Scott Ballantyne and Ardyth Alton; M.M., Northern Illinois U., cello studies with Marc Johnson of Vermeer Quartet; Andean music studies with Dr. Donald J. Funes. Chamber-music coaches: Felix Galamir, Lewis Kaplan, Scott Ballantyne, and Samuel Rhodes.
