Associate principal bassoon, New York Philharmonic, since 2003; principal bassoon, Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra, since 1999. Former second bassoon, New York City Ballet Orchestra. Recipient, the Walter and Elsie Naumburg Award for Orchestral Excellence. Has appeared with the Orchestra of St. Luke's, American Symphony Orchestra, and Eos Orchestra, and at Tanglewood and Spoleto festivals. Holds two platinum records for CDs recorded with 10,000 Maniacs. Several CDs with Music Amici.
Degrees and Studies
High School of Music and Art; Juilliard, studies with Harold Goltzer. Conservatoire National Supérieure de Paris, with Maurice Allard (Fulbright Award).
