New York debut, Brooklyn Philharmonic under Lukas Foss. Commissions include: Kronos Quartet, Musiktheater im Revier, Rioarte, Lincoln Center Institute, Pilobolus. Most active as a composer for theater, opera, dance and film, her works have been performed in Alice Tully Hall, Zankel Hall, Harvey Theater at BAM, Komische Oper in Berlin, South Bank Centre in London, Dr. Dantes Aveny in Copenhagen and Teatro Carlos Gomes in Rio de Janeiro. Grants and awards include: Opera America, the Virginia B. Toulmin Foundation, Pennsylvania Council for the Arts, Meet the Composer, Prague Quadrennial, ASCAP, Andrew Carnegie Society, Aspen Center for Compositional Studies.
