The Friends of the Library supports one of Juilliard's most important resources, the Lila Acheson Wallace Library. Members directly assist in preserving and strengthening the library's holdings, which include a vast collection of more than 60,000 scores, 20,000 books, 20,000 sound recordings and 1,000 videos, as well as a significant special collection of rare archival materials, first editions, and original manuscripts. In return, members are extended reading room privileges and invitations to special exhibitions and forums involving scholars from around the country.

Members receive:

• Subscription to the Friends of the Library newsletter, published twice yearly.

Patron - $500

• Invitations to Doctoral Forums which bring renowned scholars and performers to Juilliard for special presentations..

• A personal curatorial tour of the library and special collections.

Benefactor - $1,000

Members receive all of the above, plus:

• Online access to JUILCat Plus, which offers use of the New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians and a wealth of other important online resources.
