Jazz Memphis Barbeque

On October 16, Jazz Notables and their guests gathered for a Southern-inspired barbecue reception and panel discussion with Juilliard Jazz students, Artistic Director Carl Allen, and jazz legends George Coleman and Harold Mabern. After the reception attendees enjoyed a performance of Memphis jazz with the Juilliard Jazz Orchestra and guest artists in the Peter Jay Sharp Theater featuring works by Coleman, Mabern, and other jazz greats.

Please enjoy these photos from the performance and reception.
