Each of the four dance classes premiered works by guest choreographers in the annual New Dances program on December 14-18 at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater. The first-year dancers (pictured) performed Monica Bill Barnes’s The Way It Feels. Alex Ketley choreographed The Radiant Ocean (of Proud Vanishing Beauty) for the second years; the third years performed Pam Tanowitz’s Fortune, which was set to Charles Wourinen’s piece of the same name; and the fourth-year students premiered Swedish choreographer’s Alexander Ekman’s Episode 31.
