Colorfully clad singers, dancers, instrumentalists, and actors have brightened the Juilliard campus of late. The members of Cudamani, a Balinese ensemble, visited Juilliard to perform in traditional garb as part of the world music series sponsored by the L&M department. The Drama Division transformed the Drama Theater into Pittsburg 1911, where the cast members of Joe Turner’s Come and Gone were costumed as denizens of a boarding house in the Hill District. Witches, pirates, and pop stars all made appearances at the Halloween dance in October …  and some suspiciously masculine nuns danced in drunken revelry across the stage of the Peter Jay Sharp Theater in the Juilliard Opera Center’s production of Rossini’s Le Comte Ory in November.
