Housing Selection
All first time college students are required to live in the residence hall. Upon acceptance, all incoming students are sent a residence hall housing application and contract. Roommates for new students are assigned by the School; however, roommate requests will be honored. New transfer and graduate students who apply for housing are assigned on a space available basis.
After a student’s first year of school, on-campus housing is not guaranteed. Students wishing to live in the residence hall beyond their first year must participate in Housing Selection. Detailed information about Housing Selection is sent to all resident students in late February or early March. Students must pay a housing deposit, submit a housing application, and attend six Horizons sessions to qualify for the housing selection process. The room selection process for the following academic year is held during the first week of May. The remaining spaces are then assigned to new students. Current resident students usually take the majority or all of the single rooms.
