Activities & Organizations

The Office of Student of Affairs plans social, educational, and cultural events throughout the academic year that create opportunities for students to meet, socialize, and learn. To ensure that students are represented in the planning of these events, six program assistants are hired to work with the coordinator of student activities. Some of these events include the Halloween Dance, Chill Out Week, and the Spring Block Party. Students are always welcome to offer suggestions for activities both on and off campus.

In addition to implementing events and programs, the O.S.A. oversees all student organizations and clubs that register with the office. Registered student organizations receive assistance and advisement from the O.S.A. and benefit from limited funding. The wide variety of student groups showcases the diversity of our students’ interests. Students have the opportunity to form new groups anytime throughout the academic year.
