On September 4, the students and faculty of the Juilliard Jazz Studies Program and members of Jazz at Lincoln Center attended the program’s opening-day festivities. One of the students in the inaugural program, Adam Niewood, got acquainted with saxophonist and clarinetist Victor Goines, the director of the new program.
