Trombonist Joseph Alessi was joined by a number of guests during his concert on the Daniel Saidenberg Faculty Recital Series on February 25 at the Juilliard Theater, including pianist Warren Jones and percussionist Daniel Druckman. The performance included the New York premiere of Visions of Light by faculty member Eric Ewazen. Other events at Juilliard in February and March included James Judd conducting the Juilliard Orchestra, performances of Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost by fourth-year drama students, and a memorial for flutist Julius Baker.
