This winter the Juilliard Orchestra performed at Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center (in Washington, D.C.), and Juilliard chamber musicians—faculty and students—collaborated in concerts at the School and at Zankel Hall. The third-year drama students performed Bertolt Brecht's The Good Person of SzechWan. In November, soprano Sarah Wolfson gave the Alice Tully Debut Recital. Dancers Collin Baja, Jamal Callender, Aaron Loux, Nathan Madden, Brett Perry, Kevin Shannon, and Amaker Smith performed in Broken Rituals: Confessions From a Bound Spirit, part of Juilliard Composer and Choreographers on December 14, 16, and 17 at Peter Jay Sharp Theater. The work was choreographed by Shamel Pitts and composed by Ricardo Romaniero. (Photo by Nan Melville)
