Recent/Upcoming Events
Julia Bruskin performed Barber’s Cello Concerto with the Juilliard Symphony and conductor Jahja Ling at Avery Fisher Hall on February 10. Maestro Ling also led the Symphony in performances of Mozart’s Overture to Le Nozze di Figaro and Bruckner’s Symphony No. 7. Other January and February events at Juilliard included celebrations of Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day, the annual Marilyn Horne Foundation master classes, and the Focus! 2003 Festival, which was a special tribute to Lou Harrison at 85.
