This year’s Senior Graduation Performance presents a night of diverse choreography that showcases individual talent of senior class dancers performing solos and duets by graduating dancers, alumni, and faculty, as well as choreography from major repertoire. Highlights of the evening will include world premiere pieces by guest artists Igal Perry and Troy Powell, recent alumni Charlotte Griffin and Jessica Lang, as well as faculty members Michell Hageman and Aya Sumika Koenig. Other choreographers include alumni Robert Battle, Lar Lubovitch, and Paul Taylor, former faculty member José Limón, graduating dancers Anthony Bougiouris, Peter Chu, and Laura Halm, as well as choreographers from around the world: David Parsons, Ulysses Dove, Hans van Manen, and Dwight Rhoden.

This season, the Juilliard Dance Division celebrates its 50th anniversary as a groundbreaking conservatory dance-training program whose faculty and alumni have changed the face of dance in America and around the world. These performances commemorate the artistic director of the Juilliard Dance Division, Benjamin Harkarvy, who passed away last month.
