The Juilliard School Presents Two Chamber Music Concerts
Featuring Juilliard Students in Alice Tully Hall:
An Evening of Chamber Music on Wednesday, December 5
And Students of the American Brass Quintet on Wednesday, December 12
Both Concerts Are at 8 PM

On Wednesday December 5 at 8 PM in Alice Tully Hall The Juilliard School will present the first concert in its An Evening of Chamber Music series featuring performances by a variety of student ensembles, coached by Juilliard faculty members. The December 5 program will include Arensky's Trio No.1, Op.32 in D minor, with violinist Eugenia Choi, cellist Alice Huang, and pianist Carol Wong; Beethoven's Trio in B-flat, Op. 97 ("Archduke") with violinist Kristina Yoder, cellist Vicky Wang, and pianist SooJin Ahn, (recent competition winner and soloist with the Juilliard Orchestra in Mozart's Concerto in E-flat, K. 482); and the Mendelssohn Piano Trio No. 2 in C minor, Op. 66, with violinist Alexis Sykes, cellist Theodore Harvey, and pianist Jihea Hong. Upcoming performances in the Evening of Chamber Music series are scheduled Tuesday, February 19 in Alice Tully Hall; Friday, March 1, in the Juilliard Theater; and Friday, April 26 in Alice Tully Hall. In addition, Students of the New York Woodwind Quintet will perform on Thursday, November 29 at in Paul Hall; the Juilliard Wind Ensemble directed by Mark Gould, performs on Wednesday, April 10; all of these concerts begin at 8 PM. Tickets for An Evening of Chamber Music are FREE and are available at the Juilliard Box Office starting November 20.

This year's Students of the American Brass Quintet concert takes place on Wednesday, December 12, at 8 PM in Alice Tully Hall. The program will feature a program of 20th-century American works including: Dance Movements by David Snow; Bernard Heiden's Quartet; Seasons by John Stevens; Mosaics by Anthony Plog; and Music for Brass Instruments by Ingolf Dahl, among others. Student performers include French Horn: David Byrd-Morrow, Megan Cullen, Audrey Flores, Christina Guarino, Matthew Muehl-Miller, Joshua Pantoja, Geoffrey Pilkingtron, May Van Norman; Trumpet: Carmen Camerieri, Jason Covey, Denver Dill, Justin Emerich, Gareth Flowers, Joshua Frank, Micah Killion, William Owens, Guy Piddington, Kelly Ricks; Trombone: Mahmoud Aub-Eid, Jonathan Lombardo, Adam Peixotto, Lee Rogers, Fredi Sonderegger, Amanda Stewart; Bass Trombone: Eric Banks, Benjamin Green, John Schwalm; Tuba: Daniel Bryce, Anthony Mason. Tickets for Students of the American Brass Quintet concert are FREE and are available at the Juilliard Box Office starting on November 28.
