Evening Division

Juilliard’s Evening Division provides exceptional arts education to the general public through credit and non-credit courses on a wide range of performing arts topics each year. Its student body ranges from arts lovers seeking to deepen their appreciation and understanding of the arts to amateur and professional artists who wish to improve their skills. Course offerings include history, music theory, ear training, composition, and conducting, as well as performance classes in voice and piano. Courses are taught once per week on a semester-long basis. Many of the Evening Division faculty members also teach in the College Division.

The Evening Division also programs courses on special topics which are offered in conjunction with and intended to support Juilliard or Lincoln Center events.

To view all of our course offerings, as well as our academic calendar, policies and procedures, and for registration forms, please visit our online catalog.

PLEASE NOTE: The Evening Division is a non-matriculated program and does not grant certificates, diplomas, or degrees of any kind, nor does it offer scholarships, federal or state funding, or visas.
