An Evening with Richard Egarr and Juilliard415
Thursday, February 9, 2012
To kick off the spring season, Ovation Society members and their guests enjoyed an intimate, all-Classical performance by Juilliard415 in the Judith Harris and Tony Woolfson Orchestral Studio. Acclaimed British harpsichordist, conductor, and music director of the Academy of Ancient Music, Richard Egarr, led the ensemble in performances of Haydn's Symphony No. 26 ("Lamentatione") and Mozart's Symphony No. 38 ("Prague").
