The 114th Juilliard School Commencement Exercises will take place at 11am on Friday, May 24, 2019, in Alice Tully Hall.
Juilliard welcomes all family members and guests of our graduating students to Commencement. However, tickets to the Commencement ceremony are very limited. Each graduating student participating in the ceremony will receive two tickets; doctoral candidates are entitled to four tickets.
Graduating students will receive their tickets when they submit their cap and gown forms in mid-March. Afterward, students who adhere to Commencement requirements and deadlines are able to enter into a ticket lottery for the chance of obtaining one additional ticket. Tickets to the ceremony are not available for purchase.
Note: As of Monday, May 13, 2019, all tickets have been distributed.
There will be a standby line to get into the ceremony on the morning of Commencement. Additionally, the ceremony will be live-streamed on the Juilliard web site to anyone who wishes to watch from home. To view the live stream, please visit http://www.juilliard.edu/live.
Accessible seating tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Juilliard will make every effort to accommodate family members and guests without accessible seating tickets on the morning of Commencement. However, accessible seating is limited and advanced planning is strongly encouraged. Please note that the livestream on the Juilliard website will be closed-captioned. Should you or a guest require captions at the ceremony, please contact the Office of Disability Support Services at firstname.lastname@example.org. Additional questions regarding accessibility accommodation needs for Commencement events should be directed to email@example.com.
Detailed information about Commencement procedures is emailed to all graduating students in late February. Students who cannot find this information should email the Registrar's Office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
