Susan B. Anthony takes center stage in The Mother of Us All — perhaps “the best of all American operas” (The New Yorker), by Virgil Thomson with a libretto by Gertrude Stein — in this fully staged, site-specific production in The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s American Wing sculpture gallery.
Co-Presented by The Juilliard School's Marcus Institute for Vocal Arts, the New York Philharmonic, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s MetLiveArts performance series.
