Born in Japan

Featured performer alongside Yo-Yo Ma, Paul Simon, and James Taylor at the 10th Anniversary Memorial Ceremony of 9/11 at Ground Zero, where her performance of Amazing Grace was televised worldwide. First-prize winner of the National Flute Association's Young Artist Competition, New York Flute Club Young Artist competition, the Mid-Atlantic Flute Competition, Juilliard Concerto Competition, and the J.C. Arriaga Chamber Music Competition. Recent recital and concerto performances in New York City, Chicago, Boston, Miami, France, Munich, and Tokyo. Premieres include works by Wayne Oquin, Kendall Briggs, Elliott Carter, C.P.E. Bach and more.  Festivals and residencies include Marlboro, Lucerne, Juilliard Global in Brazil, PianoSonoma, Juilliard Baroque, and Dans Les Jardins de WIlliam Christie. Adjunct assistant professor of music, University of Buffalo.
