Born in McKeesport, PA
Winner, Pittsburgh Concert Society Young Artists and Pittsburgh Musician's Club competitions. Prizes: Rudolph Serkin Prize (Oberlin), Strine Award (U. of Arts), and Zierler Award (Peabody). Extensive performances as soloist and chamber musician in the U.S. and abroad; recent appearances with the National Gallery Orchestra, the Mid-Atlantic Symphony, and the St. Petersburg Symphony. Solo and chamber recordings on the MRC and Musician's Showcase labels. Also active as composer and conductor in the Baltimore area. Former faculty, Peabody Conservatory; Towson U. (Maryland).
