Born in N.Y.C.

Ensemble player, solo recitalist, accompanist. Performed around the world with Nathan Milstein, Itzhak Perlman, Gil Shaham, Midori, Pierre Fournier, Kyung Wha Chung, and Zara Nelsova. Member of the Zephyr Trio. Regular performances with members of the New York Philharmonic. Participant, New York Philharmonic Chamber Ensembles concerts throughout the New York area and on orchestra tours of the Far East, South America, Russia, Europe. Summer festivals: Tanglewood, Bridgehampton Music Festival, Music from Angel Fire (New Mexico), Aspen Music Festival, Hidden Valley Music Festival (Calif.). Recordings for Columbia Masterworks, DGG, RCA Red Seal, Titanic, Philo, and Nonesuch labels. Master classes throughout the U.S. Lecturer on the collaborating pianist for U. of Maryland International Piano Festival and William Kapell Competition. Director of collaborative piano program, Music Academy of the West, Santa Barbara, Calif. Collaborative piano faculty of New England Conservatory since 2011.
