Violinist Sean Lee, of Los Angeles, has been a Pre-College chamber music faculty member since 2012. He completed his BM and MM at Juilliard, where he studied with Itzhak Perlman. He also studied with Ruggiero Ricci and Robert Lipsett. Lee is featured on The Juilliard Sessions: Sean Lee (EMI Classics), which reached the Top 20 Classical Bestsellers List on iTunes. He won the “Premio Paganini” International Violin Competition and Young Concert Artists International Auditions. Lee has made solo appearances with the Jerusalem, Utah, and Westchester symphonies, the Orchestra del Teatro Carlo Felice, and the Juilliard Orchestra. He has made recital appearances at Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall, the David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center, Wiener Konzerthaus, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and the Festival di Carro Paganiniano of Italy. Lee has been featured on live radio broadcasts for KCSN (Los Angeles), WGBH (Boston), and WQXR (New York). He was in residence at the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center as a CMS Two Artist from 2012-2015. Lee joined the violin faculty of Perlman Music Program and chamber music faculty of Music@Menlo Chamber Music Institute in 2010 and served for three years as teaching assistant to Itzhak Perlman at Juilliard.
