Member, New York Woodwind Quntet; principal bassoon, Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra. Former associate principal bassoon, N.Y. Philharmonic; former acting principal bassoon, N.Y.C. Opera. Numerous freelance appearances with the Metropolitan Opera, Boston Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra of St. Luke's, New York City Opera, American Symphony Orchestra, Brandenburg Ensemble, and both the Eos and Concordia Chamber Orchestras. Chamber music performances with Musicians From Marlboro, St. Luke's Chamber Ensemble, Orpheus, Greenleaf Chamber Players, Eastern Shore Chamber Music Festival, Bard Festival Musicians, Chelsea Chamber Ensemble, and Zankel Band. Has toured four continents with the Metropolitan Opera, N.Y. Philharmonic, B.S.O., Orpheus, N.Y.C. Opera, Orchestra of St. Luke's, New York Chamber Soloists, and Musicians From Marlboro. Recorded with most of the above and featured as soloist in Crusell's Trio Concertante with the Scandia Symphony for Centaur Records. Active in commercial and movie recording in New York. Faculty, Hartt School of Music, since 1994; Mannes College of Music and Columbia U., since 2000; SUNY-Purchase and Bard Conservatory of Music, since 2005.
