Juilliard Club Spring Salon 2014


On Tuesday, April 15, 2014, The Juilliard Club held its annual Spring Salon at the Union Club, hosted by Juilliard Council members Evelyn and John Popp. Club members and guests enjoyed performances by students from the Jazz Studies, Drama, Vocal Arts, and Pre-College divisions, followed by a private cocktail reception. Jazz pianist Mathis Picard (B.M. '16) performed an improvisation on "Tea for Two" from No, No, Nanette.

Austin Smith (Drama, Group 43) performed a monologue from Shakespeare's Twelfth Night with music accompaniment from Lars Berge (Group 43).

Soprano Pureum Jo (M.M. '14) performed the famous "Song to the Moon" aria from Dvořák's Rusalka.

Pre-College student Anne Richardson (cello, '15) performed "Tambourin Chinois" by Fritz Kreisler and "Spinning Song" by David Popper, accompanied by Luis Ortiz (M.M. '14).
