Violist Molly Carr enjoys a diverse musical career as recitalist, chamber musician, educator, and artistic director. She was a top prizewinner in the Primrose International Viola Competition, made her New York solo debut at Lincoln Center with the Juilliard Orchestra, and has performed in festivals across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Molly is a member of the Solera Quartet, violist of the Carr-Petrova Duo, and the founding director of Project: Music Heals Us, a nonprofit that brings free interactive chamber music concerts and workshops into hospitals, nursing homes, hospices, homeless shelters, prisons, and refugee camps. Molly earned her bachelor and master of music degrees from Juilliard and currently serves on the viola faculties of Juilliard Pre-College and the Alberto Jonas International School of Music in Valencia, Spain.
