Roberto Gándara (Trumpet), studied at The University of Michigan (BM), Ann Arbor, and at The Juilliard School (MM). He studied with Nilda Ledoux, Armando Guitalla, William Vacchiano and Raymond Mase. Mr Gándara has toured with the Gabrieli Brass for 13 years and has played with symphonic orchestras in the United States, Europe and the Caribbean. He is currently an Associate trumpet player with the Metropolitan Opera (since 2010) and a member of King’s Brass. His teaching credentials include seminars and master classes in Europe, the United States and the Caribbean. In addition to teaching at Juilliard, Mr. Gándara is currently on the faculty of the Renaissance School of the Arts, in East Harlem.
