Steven Isserlis Opens Juilliard's Master Class Season

This year’s public master class season begins December 7 with British cellist Steven lsserlis and continues December 11 and 13 with two classes taught by another cellist, Frans Helmerson. On December 18, Juilliard String Quartet members Ron Copes and Astrid Schween (Pre-College ’80; BM ’84, MM ’85, cello) will teach a master class; Areta Zhulla and Roger Tapping, the JSQ's other half, will give a live-streamed class on March 26. More live-streaming takes place January 25, featuring baritone Gerald Finley. And there's a free horn master class by Sarah Willis on February 13.
