Students Look Back on a Truly Magical Year
It's been quite a year! We asked students—some graduating, some staying on—to write about the 2022-23 school year for this collection of recaps of artistic, academic, and social highlights, top takeaways, surprises, summer plans, and more. In addition some shared how scholarship support had helped them. Keep an eye out throughout the summer for entries from other students.

Highlights
- Being chosen to be a Fendi Vanguard Award recipient at Juilliard! It’s been such an honor and a pleasure to have this wonderful opportunity to connect with such successful and inspiring people who work in one of the top fashion houses. And getting a chance to rock the beautiful Fendi clothes and accessories was definitely the cherry on top.
- The dance class of 2023 created, marketed, and sold merchandise in support of our Senior Production. It took a lot of effort, organization, and vulnerability, but we were able to create a 2023 calendar with gorgeous photos by Rebecca Hurson as well as a class T-shirt with an original design by our own Connor Freeman. It felt truly rewarding to see all our hard work pay off.
- My last highlight—which will be happening very soon—is holding the title of being a Juilliard graduate! These four years haven’t always been the easiest, but I’m so proud of myself for pushing through regardless, even during a pandemic!
