Carnegie Hall Bernstein Celebration

Juilliard alumni are invited to a cocktail reception at Carnegie Hall following a Bernstein Centennial Celebration, with Marin Alsop (Pre-College '72; BM '77, MM '78, violin) conducting the Juilliard Orchestra, featuring Juilliard singers vocal arts alumni Raquel González, Naomi Louisa O’Connell, Amanda Lynn Bottoms, Paul Appleby, Aubrey Allicock, and Ryan McKinny.  Registration is now full for the reception- please contact to be placed on the wait list.

Back to School Jazz Party

Entrepreneurship Symposium

In collaboration with the Marks Center, this symposium aims to connect recent alumni to expand their resources in the areas of audience development, marketing/networking, programming, and legal issues in the performing arts. The symposium will include a keynote discussion with Nadia Sirota (BM ’04, MM ’06, viola; ’08 Academy) followed by lunch and four 30-minute breakout sessions on individual topics. More details TBA-- contact with any questions.

Join us for an evening celebrating 100 Years of Pre-College, including a performance of the Pre-College Orchestra conducted by Robert Spano with soloist Emanuel Ax (Pre-College '66; Diploma '70, Postgraduate Diploma '72, piano). Juilliard's online community provides alumni with the opportunity to catch up with classmates, network, and share their news. To create a login and password, go to and click on "New User Registration." You will need your Alumni ID number, which can be found on your Alumni ID card or by contacting the Alumni Office at or 212-799-5000, ext. 344.

Beyond the Stage

The Juilliard Alumni Office is in the beginning stages of creating a network for alums who work in non-performance related careers. The group will host events and create opportunities for mentoring between alumni and/or between alumni and current students.  Contact the Office of Alumni Relations if you are interested in finding out more about this group or joining Beyond the Stage.

Visiting Juilliard

The building is open to alumni visitors Monday through Friday from 8am to 7pm. If you would like to visit, please email or call  (212) 799-5000, ext. 344, during business hours (Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm), at least one day prior to your visit, so that your name can be added to the visitor list. Alumni are required to show their alumni ID card and photo ID at the security desk upon arrival. If you do not have your alumni ID card, contact the alumni office to request one. Please also note that library appointments are only available during business hours and require 24-hour advance notice by emailing During the summer months, the Juilliard building is not open on weekends and all administrative offices are closed on Fridays. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to seeing you on your next visit!
