Jerome L. Greene Scholarship Challenge
In 1985, the Jerome L. Greene Foundation established Juilliard’s first major endowed scholarship fund to support students in the Dance, Drama, and Music divisions. The Jerome L. Greene Foundation has now generously committed up to $5 million in matching funds to support named, endowed scholarships at Juilliard, helping to provide $10 million in new scholarship funding.
How it works
The foundation will match 1:1 any gift of $100,000 to create a new named endowed scholarship fund or add to an existing named scholarship fund.
Your $100,000 gift + $100,000 Jerome L. Greene Foundation match =
new/increased endowed scholarship fund totaling $200,000
With the support of the Jerome L. Greene Foundation, you can significantly increase your current scholarship endowment fund or create a new named endowed scholarship at Juilliard and create a personal legacy at Juilliard to sustain future generations of performing artists for half the price!
Your gift of $100,000 will provide the crucial resources needed to recruit and enroll the most talented student artists from around the globe. Scholarship funds enable our students to focus their time at Juilliard on developing their artistic craft without undue financial burden. Your participation in this challenge will help fulfill the school’s goal of increasing the amount of annual scholarship aid and building a lasting financial foundation as the endowment grows over time.
Deadline to sign up is December 31, 2023. Multi-year pledges are welcome (up to 5 years) and new named scholarships will be awarded once pledges are fulfilled.
