Juilliard’s Evening Division provides exceptional arts education to the adult general public through credit and non-credit courses on a wide range of performing arts topics each year. Its student body ranges from arts lovers seeking to deepen their appreciation and understanding of the arts to amateur and professional artists who wish to improve their skills. Course offerings include dance, drama, and music history, music theory, ear training, composition, and conducting, as well as performance classes in voice and piano. Courses are taught once per week on a semester-long basis. Many of the Evening Division faculty members also teach in the College Division.
