Scholarship Giving

Support the Juilliard Scholarship Fund

We believe that no student should be denied a Juilliard education due to financial need. With more than 90 percent of our students eligible for financial aid, every scholarship gift represents important progress toward securing the resources required to meet the needs of our young artists.

Your support during these challenging times is especially meaningful to our students and their families. The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly affected the Juilliard community and this vital fund makes a Juilliard education possible for many deserving young actors, dancers, and musicians. Gifts of any amount are greatly appreciated.

How to Name a Scholarship

Donors may establish scholarships in their name or in honor or memory of someone special. Named scholarship recognition can be funded on an annual basis or permanently endowed to create a lasting legacy that will support talented young artists for generations to come. For more information about making a named gift to support scholarships at Juilliard, please contact Irene Elias at [email protected] or 212-799-5000, ext. 309.

If you are considering establishing a scholarship through a bequest or another type of deferred gift, please visit the Planned Giving page.

Scholarship decisions are made by the Juilliard Scholarship Committee upon the student’s admission to the school and based on a combination of financial need and artistic merit. Donors may not select scholarship recipients.
