Juilliard Thrives, The Juilliard School’s campus well-being initiative, seeks to support students by providing opportunities for you to strengthen self-care practices, proactively integrate well-being into your life, and empower you to be healthier and happier. We provide a number of specialized programs and services in order to enhance your Juilliard experience and guide you in improving or sustaining your well-being from your first day at Juilliard through your time as an alumnus.

Community Well-Being can be the differentiator between a good life and a great one. People with high Community Well-Being feel safe and secure where they live. They take pride in their community, which often results in their wanting to give back and make a lasting contribution to society.
Emotional Well-Being is an important part of overall health; it can include the ability to practice stress management techniques, be resilient, and generate the emotions that lead to good, positive feelings. People with high Emotional Well-Being are in control of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and they're able to cope with life’s challenges. They feel good about themselves and have good relationships with others.
People with thriving Financial Well-Being are satisfied with their overall standard of living. They manage their personal finances well to create financial security. They give to others and don’t just spend on themselves. As a result of managing their money wisely, they have the financial freedom to spend even more time with the people whose company they enjoy most.
People with thriving Physical Well-Being manage their health effectively. They exercise regularly and feel better throughout the day as a result. They make good dietary choices, which keep their energy high throughout the day and sharpen their thinking. They get enough sleep, and wake up feeling well-rested and able to process what they learned the day before.
