Larissa Leung

Larissa Leung (she/they) is from Toronto, Canada and began her training at Sean Boutilier Academy of Dance. There, she took Cecchetti examinations and completed her Advanced II. She attended summer programs with Nederlands Dans Theater, Springboard Danse Montreal, and Arts Umbrella. At The Juilliard School, she performed the works of Ohad Naharin, Aszure Barton, Spenser Theberge and Jermaine Spivey, amongst others. She participated in Student Choreographic Workshops and her piece “so we won’t forget” was chosen to be performed in Juilliard’s Choreographic Honors 2022. Last year, Larissa served as a Juilliard Resident Assistant during the 2021-2022 academic year and is excited to continue this role again. In her aim to be engaged with the community, she is a member of the Juilliard's Gluck Fellowship and guest teaches with the City of Mississauga to empower youth in the arts.
