Makani Yerg

Makani Yerg (he/him) is from the Washington metropolitan area and began training in ballet at a small studio before joining CityDance School and Conservatory with artistic director Lorraine Spiegler. He attended summer intensives such as San Francisco Ballet, Netherlands Dance Theater, and Springboard Danse Montréal, and was a finalist in the 2018 Prix De Lausanne. At Juilliard, Yerg has performed works by Amy Hall Garner, Sonya Tayeh, Ohad Naharin, Norbert De La Cruz III, Aszure Barton, and Jermaine Spivey and Spenser Theberge. He is grateful for all the support and opportunities he has received and is looking forward to beginning his professional career with Junior Ballett at Ballet Zurich.
