Kate Wilson was born in Syracuse, N.Y. She holds degrees from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst (BA) and Lesley College (MA). She has been on faculty at Juilliard since 1999.

For the New York Shakespeare Festival she has coached productions of The Merchant of Venice, Much Ado About Nothing, Henry V, Twelfth Night, and The Seagull.

Wilson’s regional coaching credits include Chautauqua, Williamstown Theater, Shakespeare Theater, Center Stage, Acting Company, Huntington Theatre, Old Globe Theatre, Seattle Rep, McCarter Theater, and Mark Taper Forum.
