For the New York Shakespeare Festival she has coached productions of The Merchant of Venice, Much Ado About Nothing, Henry V, Twelfth Night, and The Seagull.

Kate’s regional coaching credits include Williamstown Theater, Chautauqua, Shakespeare Theater, Center Stage, Acting Company, Huntington Theatre, Old Globe Theatre, Seattle Rep, McCarter Theater, and Mark Taper Forum.

Kate was raised in Syracuse, NY. She holds degrees from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst (BA) and Lesley College (MA). She lives in New York City with her husband and two daughters. She has been on faculty since 1999.
