Program information:

Juilliard415 returns to MB1800 to celebrate the orchestral imagination of the operatic revolutionary Jean-Philippe Rameau. Drawn from his operas Castor et Pollux (Paris, 1737) and Dardanus (1739), this sumptuous program highlights Rameau’s breathtaking sonorities, his propulsive and kinetic dance movements, and his heartbreaking airs.

This first concert in our French Touch Series explores the soaring heights of the late French Baroque, featuring soloists from Juilliard’s Ellen and James S. Marcus Institute for Vocal Arts program.
