Violinist Ann Setzer has been a member of the Pre-College faculty since 1992. She is the recipient of numerous awards and has played in recitals, made solo appearances with orchestras, and given chamber music performances throughout the U.S. and Europe. She has been a faculty member at the Mannes College of Music and Meadowmount School of Music since 1981 and has been a faculty member at the Killington Chamber Music Festival since 1986. Setzer received her master’s degree from Juilliard and her doctoral degree from SUNY-Stony Brook. She studied violin with Sally Thomas and Roman Totenberg, chamber music with Joseph Gingold and Timothy Eddy, and members of the Juilliard Quartet.
