Registering a NYCID card at the Juilliard Box Office

Juilliard is offering IDNYC card holders a free membership for one year

In January, Juilliard proudly became the first educational institution to take part in the IDNYC initiative. IDNYC was created five years ago as an ID card that provides participating New Yorkers with access to city services, discounts on recreation and entertainment, free or reduced admission to cultural institutions, and other benefits. The other new entities are the Atlantic and Signature theaters, Costco, and two locations in the Catskills: Sullivan Event Center and Kartrite water park.

IDNYC members who register at the Juilliard box office will be eligible for Juilliard Store and performance discounts as well as receiving information about upcoming performances. Taking part in the program, said Christina Salgado, Juilliard’s director of equity, diversity, belonging, and inclusion initiatives, is part of a “schoolwide effort to broaden access.”
