- 1941 Broadway, New York, NY 10023
You're invited to the Juilliard Fall Benefit! On November 4, enjoy an evening performance celebrating Pre-College and witness the talent of Juilliard's youngest musicians.
The evening begins at 7pm with a performance in Alice Tully Hall. It features the Juilliard Pre-College Orchestra, the Pre-College High School Chorus, and the Music Advancement Program Chorus and will showcase the extraordinary students and alumni of the Pre-College program. The repertoire includes works by Copland, Prokofiev, and Tchaikovsky, conducted by David Robertson and Nico Olarte-Hayes.
Guest artists to be featured during the evening include Pre-College alumni representing a range of creative possibility: Emmy-winning and Oscar-nominated composer and pianist Nicholas Britell (Succession); flutist and Eighth Blackbird (the Grammy-winning chamber ensemble) co-artistic director Nathalie Joachim, who's also a vocalist and composer; and Grammy-nominated pianist Joyce Yang, the silver medalist in the 2005 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition.
Following the performance, dinner will take place on the David H. Koch Theater Grand Promenade. Benefit tickets, which start at $500 for Young Patrons, can be purchased by contacting (212) 799-5000, ext. 329, or [email protected] or visiting giving.juilliard.edu/fallbenefit.
